Meditation: Blossoming to your Ultimate Nature
There are many misconceptions built around Meditation. Most People think, if we close our eyes and sit, it’s called Meditation.
No!
Basically Meditation doesn’t mean anything if it comes to a particular sense or dimension.
We can sit with our eyes closed and do many things. There are many different unexplored dimensions. We can do Japa, Tapa, Dhyana and Samadhi etc.
Meditation is a certain Quality of being one with the Ultimate Consciousness. When we say Meditation, it’s not an activity to be performed, it’s a certain way of being with the Consciousness.
The more we try to meditate, the more complex it becomes and many come to a conclusion that it’s very difficult.
Well!!
In the true sense, the Quality of Meditation depends on four factors:
1. How we take and cultivate our Body.
2. How we cultivate our Mind:
Meditation or dhyana in yoga is a process of stilling or calming the mind to achieve a sense of deep calmness and serenity. The practice of dhyana was done to achieve that heightened sense of awareness and to intensify your spiritual growth.
3.How we cultivate or channelize our Emotions:
If we use our emotions to reach the ultimate, that part of dimension is called as Bhakti Yoga: The path of Devotion or complete surrender. This is the most practised yoga In India.
4.How we cultivate the very Energy inside:
There is whole science of Yoga on how to control and transcend the inner energies. When one starts to control the very energy inside, one becomes the master of his/her destiny.
If we learn to keep the body still by practicing Hatha Yoga and Asanas, then gradually our mind will also become still. If we carefully observe ourselves and see how many unnecessary movements and activities our body performs while we are awake.
The conclusion is that as we become meditative, we become the master of our body, mind, emotions and energy and that is how it must always be.
